Ma chère maman,
Rien de bien neuf ; je n’ai entendu parler ni de la tante Marie, ni des cousins. J’ai été d’abord chez M. Rinck qui m’a emmené à la messe et aux courses. Elie a jusqu’à mardi matin, il a obtenu son autorisation après démarches. Il a le lundi, le mardi, et rentre le mercredi par le premier train. Ils arriveront, je crois, le samedi soir. M. Rinck a toujours montré sur le turf la modération qui l’avait distingué la dernière fois, et elle a été toujours aussi mal récompensée. Le seul cheval qu’il ait pris est arrivé non plus 10 mètres, mais 50 mètres après les autres. Après j’ai été chez Mollery et aux Français avec Gonzalve. On jouait l’Avare avec Talbot, Got, Reichemberg ; et Melle de la Seilière avec Thiron, Coquelin, Croizette.
Nous sortons aujourd’hui à 2h après avoir composé en méca à midi.
